In 1951 vocalist Louis Prima added a lyric to the Shapiro Bernstein song “Luna Mezza Mare” and called it “Zooma Zooma.” The song found new popularity as part of a medley with “Angelina” (Fisher/Roberts). “Zooma Zooma” has been featured in two blockbuster Mafia movies during the 1990s. The song appeared during the end credits for the smash comedy Analyze This, starring Robert De Niro and Billy Crystal. It was also used in famed director Martin Scorsese’s hit Casino, featuring Sharon Stone.
