Blessid Union Of Souls released their debut album "Home" in 1995 and immediately soared to the top of the charts. Their first single was entitled I BELIEVE and was penned by band members Eliot Sloan, Jeff Pence and producer Emosia. I BELIEVE stayed in the Billboard Top Ten for two months, climbed to #5 on the Adult Contemporary chart and was honored by ASCAP as one of the five most performed songs of 1995. This song hit #1 on radio play for the USA. In 2009, DJ Jason Nevins created a new upbeat dance version of this song entitled OPEN UR MIND.
