Shapiro Bernstein’s youngest signing, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, received an ASCAP Pop Award for her hit TOO LITTLE TOO LATE recorded by JoJo. The song reached #3 on the Billboard Top 100 and is included in the chart topping record NOW 23. Ruth-Anne also co-wrote and sings back-up vocals on OVER IT (Cunningham/Steinberg/Alexander), recorded by American Idol Katharine McPhee on her self-titled debut album on RCA Records. A new version was recorded by The Bootroom All-Stars featuring the distinctive vocals of Echo and The Bunnymen frontman Ian McCulloch.
