Tom Jones (b. Thomas Jones Woodward, Pontypridd, Wales, June 7, 1940) is as well-known for his dancing and gyrations as for his strong tenor voice. Jones has had a very successful international career as a pop singer, appearing on countless television shows in the 1960s and 70s. In 1969, he began hosting his own weekly TV variety series in America, which ran for three years. Tom Jones' biggest hits were "What's New, Pussycat" (No. 3/1965) and "She's A Lady" (No. 2/1971).
