NY, NY, Dec. 26, 1921) is a very versatile entertainer: the author of several books, a composer, a singer, a movie actor, and the original host of The Tonight Show, among several other shows. He has been inducted into the TV Hall of Fame, and at one time was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most prolific composer of the 20th century.
