| Natalie Cole (b. Los Angeles, CA, February 6, 1950) had her first Top 10 hit in 1975 with the release of her single entitled "This Will Be." Cole, who is the daughter of singer Nat "King" Cole, had a run of pop and R&B chart-toppers in the late 1970s. She began a second career in 1990 recording standards popularized by her father and has released several tribute albums to him. Her 1991 multi-platinum album Unforgettable With Love stayed at No. 1 for five weeks and won seven Grammys. |
