Judy Garland (b. Frances Gumm, Grand Rapids, MI, June 10, 1922; d. January 22, 1969) is a true show business legend. Although she is most famous for her many movie roles (including "Dorothy" in MGM's 1939 classic The Wizard Of Oz), Garland is also remembered for her extraordinary vocal prowess. Garland hosted her own popular TV series in 1963 and 1964. Her daughter, singer/actress Liza Minnelli, carries on the family tradition.
