First heard on the radio at age five, and appearing on TV by age eleven, no one doubted the singing talents of BRENDA LEE (b. Lithonia, GA, Dec. 11, 1944). Starting out with a country/rockabilly sound, she crossed over into pop successfully, producing the number one hits "I'm Sorry" and "I Want To Be Wanted," as well as forty-eight other top 100 hits between 1957 and 1973. Today, she has returned to her country roots, and continues to perform.
